| My first bag! |
For Christmas this past year, 2014, my loving man got me a set of round knitting looms. Previously I had zero experience in knitting so I took to the all knowing YouTube to absorb as much of its knowledge that I could. The reason for my blog is to share my incredible looming journey with you! I've made many hats and a few ear warmers but my most recent prize is a beautiful bag I made for myself. I incorporated some heavy hemp, beads made from an olive tree and a few glow in the dark pony beads with my beautiful Heather Grey yarn. I can not express how happy I am with the finished product! It is the perfect size for my phone and a few essentials. I immediately started another one for a friend.
As soon as the weather breaks I plan to build a GIANT loom in my shed for looming some chunky wool blankets to keep you and I, hopefully the whole world, warm in the cold months!
